Install and view macOS server dashboards and alerts

The Grafana Cloud macOS integration comes with a number of pre-built dashboards and alerts that you can use immediately. In this step of the journey, you’ll install those dashboards and alerts.

Did you know?

You aren’t limited to using the pre-built dashboards and alerts. You can create your own dashboards and alerts.

To install and view macOS dashboards and alerts:

  1. In Grafana Cloud, scroll down to the Install dashboards and alerts section and click Install.

    You should see the following message: Dashboards and alerts have been installed.

  2. To view the dashboards, click View Dashboards.

    A folder containing the macOS dashboards appears.

  3. To see the installed alerts, first click the Grafana icon in the top left-corner of the screen.

    The left-side menu appears.

  4. Click Alerts & IRM > Alerting > Alert rules.

    The Alert rules page shows all active alerts. macOS integration alerts begin with integrations-macos-node.
