I’m “the BI enthusiast” at Grafana. I love trying to make Grafana better for working with business data, whether that’s business observability, alerting on business data, combining business data with observability data, or avoiding any need for a data lake or ETL Pipelines by fetching the data you need at query time and merging it in Grafana. I’m also an enthusiast for the “semantic layer”, and trying to bring that to Grafana Labs too, both in Grafana and Prometheus. I’ve done a hella lot of dogfooding of Grafana, and reported a lot of bugs! I can talk about this too!
