Dominik Prokop is a Principal Software Engineer at Grafana Labs, where he has spent the past seven years shaping core parts of the Grafana platform across multiple product areas, most recently focusing on dashboards. He leads the frontend architecture behind the dashboarding stack, including the scenes framework, schema v2, and the dashboard API powering Dynamic Dashboards in Grafana 13. Outside of engineering, he spends his time immersed in literature or searching for compelling light through street photography.
