COOKIES
When you use Grafana Labs’ products, we may place cookies on your device. Cookies are small text files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify your browser or to store information or settings in your browser. For example, cookies allow us to recognize you when you return. They help us provide a customized experience and can enable us to detect fraud. They also allow us to display personalized ads to you. Grafana Labs’ products use both “session cookies” and “persistent cookies.” Session cookies normally expire when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain on your device after you close your browser, and can be used again the next time you access Grafana Labs’ products. We use four types of persistent cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for our products and websites to operate properly. For example, strictly necessary cookies allow you to put items in your online shopping cart and carry them through checkout. Some strictly necessary cookies are used to help ensure the security of our websites and display the correct language.
- Preference cookies, which allow us to recognize your computer when you visit and respect your preferences. For example, these cookies may store your username (if you ask to be remembered).
- Performance cookies, which measure how our site works and track usage, such as which pages you visit and how long you spend there. These cookies may be placed by us (or by our service providers) or by our third party advertising partners. We place these cookies to optimize our websites and to improve website performance. Third parties use these cookies to analyze which ads you may have seen.
- Advertising cookies, which allow us and our partners to display personalized ads to you on our site and on other websites that you visit. For example, if you look at products on our website, we use advertising cookies to allow our partners to deliver our ads to you for those products on other websites. You may see other companies’ ads on our website delivered by our advertising partners.
In many cases you can manage cookie preferences and opt-out of having cookies and other data collection technologies by adjusting the settings on your browser. All browsers are different, so visit the “help” section of your browser to learn about cookie preferences and other privacy settings that may be available. If you choose to remove or reject cookies, it may affect the features, availability, and functionality of Grafana Labs’ products.
