What’s happening at ObservabilityCON 2026
We’re offering a sneak peak into the packed agenda for ObservabilityCON 2026. We are excited about everything we have in store—with more talks to be announced soon. Here’s a closer look.
Hands-on workshops
Prefer to learn by actually doing? We’ve got you.
ObservabilityCON 2026 kicks off on October 19 with a series of hands-on workshops, offering you firsthand experience in how to observe, govern, and improve AI systems running in production, build telemetry pipelines with Alloy, and more. Grafana Labs experts will lead these interactive and in-depth sessions, which include:
- Intro to observability for the AI era (morning session)
- Advanced Grafana: From dashboard to AI command center (morning and afternoon session)
- The power user's guide to the AI assistant in Grafana Cloud (morning and afternoon session)
- Instrument and observe production-ready agentic apps with Grafana Cloud and AWS (morning and afternoon session)
- Building telemetry pipelines with Grafana Alloy (afternoon session)
Workshops will take place at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf, about a mile from the main venue. A separate ticket is required to attend a workshop, and can only be purchased alongside a full conference ticket. You can register for up to two workshops (one morning session and one afternoon session). Space is limited, so add a workshop to your registration before they fill up.
Opening keynote
Join Grafana Labs CEO/Co-founder Raj Dutt, CTO Tom Wilkie, and members of the engineering team for the kickoff of ObservabilityCON 2026, where they share the latest in AI for observability, observability for AI, and solutions for all.
Technical sessions and user-success stories
After the keynote, we’ll kick off a series of technical sessions led by members of the Grafana Labs team, industry leaders, and the practitioners who run observability at scale every day.
Across Tuesday and Wednesday, sessions cluster around the themes defining observability in the AI era, including:
- Any agent anywhere: Grafana Cloud is the open agentic observability platform: See how any agent—whether it's Grafana Assistant, third-party tools like Cursor or Claude Code, or homegrown—can interact with Grafana Cloud to help triage, troubleshoot, or advance your business needs.
- Why observability is the key to trusting your AI agents: Say goodbye to black-box agents. Grafana Cloud makes agent sessions a new telemetry signal—correlated with metrics, logs, traces, and profiles—that helps you understand not just whether agents are working, but how and why.
- The new Grafana Cloud IRM: One picture for humans and agents: Get a closer look at how Grafana Cloud simplifies incident response and management so that incidents start with context, postmortems write themselves, and every incident makes the next one faster to resolve.
- Map business impact to root cause with full-stack observability: Learn how Grafana Cloud quickly connects what your business sees to what your systems are doing, using an end-to-end playbook built around OpenTelemetry standards.
See our agenda for more information about the sessions—packed with practical takeaways you can bring straight back to your team—and be sure to check back as we continue adding more technical talks and success stories to the lineup.
Networking opportunities, interactive demos, and more
No Grafana Labs event would be complete without lots of opportunities to connect with observability experts and industry peers. And, of course, demos.
Here’s what you can expect at ObservabilityCON 2026:
- Ask the Experts booth: Stop by and bring your toughest questions straight to the Grafana Labs engineers who build the products.
- Interactive demo stations: Get hands-on with the newest Grafana Cloud features in live demos before you try them at home.
- Welcome party: After Tuesday's sessions, stay for the reception and keep the day’s conversations going. It’s a chance to compare notes with peers solving the same problems you are.
