Today’s the day: Registration is officially open for ObservabilityCON 2023!

Join us live and in person in London, 14-15 November, to explore the emerging trends in open source observability, learn about the latest updates to the Grafana LGTM Stack (Loki for logs, Grafana for visualization, Tempo for traces, and Mimir for metrics), connect with technical experts to advance your own observability strategy — and so much more.

To take advantage of the £100 early bird pricing rate, purchase your ticket before 20 October. (Full price tickets will be £180.) Seating is limited, so register today!

ObservabilityCON 2023 agenda: A preview of the sessions

ObservabilityCON 2023 kicks off with a series of technical, hands-on workshops on 14 November. (Note: Workshops require separate registration and an additional £80 ticket.) This year’s sessions will help attendees get started with Grafana Loki, master the basics of service level objectives (SLOs), and run performance and load tests with Grafana k6.

Following the workshops will be the opening keynote, featuring Grafana Labs CEO and co-founder Raj Dutt, CTO Tom Wilkie, and members of the Grafana Labs engineering team. In addition to unveiling some exciting updates related to Grafana’s “big tent” philosophy and the Grafana LGTM Stack, keynote speakers will explore cutting-edge observability strategies and share their vision of what’s to come in the open source observability space. (Can’t join us in London? The keynote will stream live on 14 November. Sign up for access.)

After the keynote, a series of sessions will cover a range of topics, including:

  • How to manage observability costs with Grafana Cloud
  • Best practices for correlating application and infrastructure observability to resolve issues faster
  • How to use Grafana SLO and Grafana IRM (incident response and management) to prioritize and address your business-critical performance issues
  • Why load testing, synthetic monitoring, and real user monitoring are essential to gain insights into the end-user experience
  • The latest updates to the open source telemetry backends that make up the Grafana LGTM Stack: Grafana Mimir for Prometheus metrics, Grafana Loki for logs, and Grafana Tempo for traces
  • The current and future role of AI and machine learning in open source observability
The title card for ObservabilityCON 2023.

In addition, you’ll hear observability success stories from Grafana community members, including how ComplyAdvantage overhauled its observability strategy with OpenTelemetry and Grafana Cloud, and how Actian uses Grafana Cloud to support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Of course, the in-person event will also be a great opportunity to network and connect with peers. And don’t forget to visit our popular “Ask the Experts” booth to meet with Grafana Labs pros one-on-one, and get answers to your observability questions.

We want to hear from you!

Ahead of ObservabilityCON 2023, we want to learn more about your observability practices, challenges, and goals. Grafana Labs has launched our second annual observability survey, and we’d love you to take part. (It only takes 5 minutes, we promise!) All answers will be anonymous — plus did we mention there’s an opportunity to earn some Grafana swag?

To learn more, check out the ObservabilityCON 2023 agenda, and stay tuned as we add more sessions over the coming weeks.

The countdown to ObservabilityCON 2023 has officially begun! If you haven’t already, register today to secure your spot at this can’t-miss open source observability event.
