Over the past 20+ years, Chris has worked in several roles, including scientific R&D, software engineering and organizational leadership. His experience spans various environments including university and national research labs, small tech startups and large companies. Currently, he works at Orange Barrel Media (https://obm.com/), a premier provider of outdoor advertising and smart city technology. At OBM, he leads production infrastructure, systems security, SRE, occasional hardware R&D projects and continuous operational practice improvement. He is passionate about building things and making technology useful, fun and accessible both at home and at work.
