FAQs

How do I register for the event?
You can register by purchasing a ticket on our website. Once payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket.
What is the cost to register for ObservabilityCON 2024?
The cost for a conference ticket will open at $225 + fees for early bird registration (limited number of early bird tickets available). Once early bird tickets are sold out, full price tickets will increase to $450.
Where will the event take place?
The event will take place at Convene located at 225 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10281, U.S.A.
What is the refund policy? If I cannot attend, can I transfer my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can request to transfer your ticket to someone else by emailing events@grafana.com.
When will the agenda be made available?
The full conference agenda will be released in July.
How do I convince my boss to let me attend?
At ObservabilityCON 2024, you’ll learn observability best practices, technical tips, and real-world success stories that you simply can’t get anywhere else. It’s an opportunity to connect with industry experts, who can help answer your most pressing (and challenging) observability questions. Bottom line? Can I purchase a ticket at the venue?
No. Walk-ins will not be admitted and tickets will not be available for purchase onsite. Capacity at this event is limited.
Will the sessions be available to watch after the conference ends?
Most conference sessions will be recorded and published for on-demand viewing. The Opening Keynote will be available to stream live.
Do I need to register for each session that I want to attend?
Once you register to attend the event in person, you do not need to register for specific conference sessions; however, if you plan to attend a workshop, you will need to register for that separately to save your seat.
Is there a way to network with other attendees?
Yes. During the event, there will be dedicated breaks, meals, and receptions for you to network with other attendees on both days. Connect with attendees before the conference via our Slack community.
Is there a conference hotel where I can book lodging?
No, the conference is not affiliated with a specific hotel and we do not have rooms blocked or discounted at any local hotel. However, there are numerous hotels near the venue that offer superb accommodations.
Is public transportation available nearby?

The event venue is conveniently accessible via the following subway lines: the E train (World Trade Center) and the 2, 3, 4, 5, Z, and J trains (Fulton Street). Nearby bus stops include: Vesey Street & West Street, South End Avenue & Gateway Plaza and Vesey Street & North End Avenue.

  • M9: The M9 bus travels along Water Street and makes stops near the South Street Seaport and City Hall before heading towards Battery Park City. You can get off near Liberty Street and walk a few minutes to 225 Liberty Street.
  • M20: The M20 bus runs up and down the West Side, traveling through Battery Park City. This bus stops close to Brookfield Place, which houses 225 Liberty Street. You can get off near Vesey Street or North End Avenue and walk a short distance.
  • M22: The M22 bus travels along Madison and Chambers Streets, passing near City Hall and the Financial District. This route will get you close to Brookfield Place, and you can walk a few minutes to 225 Liberty Street.
Is parking available onsite?

Parking facilities are available near the venue in the locations listed below. Please note that these are public parking facilities and the venue does not accept any responsibility for theft, loss, or damage.

Do I need to print my tickets?
You are not required to print your ticket; you can simply show one of our team members your ticket directly from your tablet or mobile phone upon arrival at the check-in desk. You can also use a valid photo ID to check in.
May guests attend the event?
The event is only open to attendees in possession of a valid ticket with a valid photo ID.
What time should I arrive?
Registration will open at 8:00 for workshop attendees and at 12:30 for conference attendees on September 24. Registration opens at 8:00 for all attendees on September 25. Please ensure you check in at the registration desk and collect your name badge. If you arrive before registration is open, please wait at the entrance hall of the venue until a member of the staff lets you in.
Are food and drinks included with my registration?
Light breakfast, buffet lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided on both days of the event. If you are attending the event and have severe food allergies, please email us at events@grafana.com.
What should I bring to the event?
Come prepared with questions you would like to ask our experts. You can bring your laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. WiFi will be made available throughout the conference rooms.
Will you have a coat check for the event?
Yes. There will be a coat check available for you to leave your personal belongings throughout the duration of the event at no additional charge.
What if I need special access requirements?
If you have any special access requirements, please email us at events@grafana.com upon registration, and we will make necessary arrangements.
Do you require COVID vaccination in order to attend?
Attendees are not required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend the event.
Is there an event code of conduct?
Grafana Labs is committed to ensuring a safe and welcoming ObservabilityCON 2024 for all attendees, and our events team will be enforcing our Code of Conduct. We ask all who attend to please review it.
