Monitor collector health

Time to put what you’ve learned into practice. This learning path will walk you through registering a collector with Fleet Management and exploring the health monitoring features.

You’ll create an access token, add the remotecfg block to your Alloy configuration, and see your collector appear in the inventory. Then you’ll explore the health dashboards and learn how to interpret what they’re showing you.

If you already have Alloy installed, you can work with your existing collector. If not, the path includes installation steps. Either way, by the end you’ll have a collector registered with Fleet Management and you’ll know how to monitor its health.
