AWS monitoring learning path

You’ve chosen AWS scrape jobs, the simplest path to getting AWS metrics into Grafana Cloud. This hands-on learning path walks you through the entire setup process, from navigating to the configuration interface to verifying your metrics are flowing.

We’re starting at milestone 4 since the course already covered why cloud provider observability matters and the advantages of this approach. The journey picks up with navigating to the AWS configuration in Grafana Cloud, then walks you through creating the IAM role, connecting your account, setting up scrape jobs, and verifying everything works.

Each milestone below expands to show you exactly what to do. Work through them in order. You’ll need access to your AWS account with permissions to create IAM roles.
