You’ve learned visual exploration for metrics. Now let’s apply that same approach to logs.

In this module, you’ll explore Grafana Logs Drilldown, the queryless interface for investigating logs. Just like with metrics, you’ll filter, search, and analyze data through point-and-click actions.

The workflow is similar to what you learned for metrics, but logs have their own structure. Instead of time series values, you’re working with detected fields, text search, and log patterns. This is where you’ll connect events to the infrastructure metrics you explored in the previous module.

By the end of this module, you’ll know how to find specific logs, filter by labels and fields, and spot errors and anomalies visually.
