Usage limits

Grafana Machine Learning features and capabilities (including forecasts, outlier detection, and Sift) are free to use for all Grafana Cloud accounts.

Metrics generated by Grafana Machine Learning do not count toward billable active series in Grafana Cloud Metrics.

The usage of machine learning algorithms is limited in the following ways:

1. Forecasting

   • 10 forecasts per hosted Grafana instance
   • 100 series per forecast
   • 50,000 datapoints for training per series

2. Detect outliers

   • 10 outlier detectors per hosted Grafana instance
   • 1,000 series per outlier detector

To request an increase in any of these limits, contact us or ask your account executive, support engineer, or technical account manager.
