Webhooks in Grafana IRM
Webhooks in Grafana IRM provide a flexible way to integrate with and communicate between Grafana IRM and your external systems. You can use webhooks to send or receive event data, enabling you to automate workflows across your existing tools and processes.
Available webhook types
Grafana IRM supports two types of webhooks:
Incoming webhooks
Incoming webhooks allow external systems to send data into Grafana IRM. Use incoming webhooks to:
- Receive alerts from monitoring systems that are not natively supported
- Trigger incidents from custom applications
- Import event data from third-party tools
Outgoing webhooks
Outgoing webhooks allow Grafana IRM to send data to external systems. Use outgoing webhooks to:
- Notify external services about alert and incident events
- Update tickets or tasks in other systems
- Trigger automated workflows in response to IRM events
