Use njmon on AIX showing the new graphs which arrived with Grafana 6.6.2. The single stat with mini graph very good for monitoring lots of server or lots of stats. The Bar Graphs are super cool and so many options! Definitely worth the upgrade. njmon for AIX is v50+ This template uses a variable $HOST based on the server hostname in the data.

Remove problem Clock plugin. Update Pie chert. Remove static host "silver" reference to $HOST variable. Lots of small corrections and remove Angular dependency

On AIX we have Client and Server sides and Version v2, v3 and v4. The top chart will show which are active and the rest of the lower charts the details stats for each combination. Note the versions have different stats and the client and servers stats of one version may not exactly the same for some versions.

Use njmon on AIX or Linux v42+, needs the v40+ injector

Use njmon on AIX v78+ Includes monitoring the njmon data collector itself as a synthetic transaction. Using its execution time (if its fighting for CPU cycles to complete or not) and sleep overrun (failing to wake up promptly). A very good way to determine if the Virtual Machine is nearing an over stressed condition.

Use njmon on AIX v60+ This version has the memory stats in GB instead of number of 4KB pages

Use njmon on AIX v33+, needs plugin Pie Chart & Clock. Using many graph types and for variable numbers of resources, CPU, disks, Nets Group By to get them named, time in UTC zone. Variable to select the hostname and selecting only AIX ones.

Use njmon on AIX for Linux v76+ You need to request Process data to be collected using the -P option. Also use the -t 5 option to only collect processes using 5% of a CPU or more. This eliminates lots of process data for minor CPU using processes. Even try -t 50 to capture the naughty list of processes (some might be in accidental loops or stuck in loop).

Six graph starter pack (CPU, memory, disk, network, run queue and filesystem) plus basic config details. A simple dashboard to add your own specific more detailed graphs and stats. It requires the clock: Run command: grafana-cli plugins install grafana-clock-panel and restart Grafana. Or just delete that panel if you don't want a clock.

Use njmon on AIX v80 or higher

There is a very similar Dashboard with the Variable added to allow switching Server / Serial Number - that one is more useful but the comparison may be useful to learn about Templates
