Configure notification settings

In this milestone, you select a contact point and enter a notification message. While the notification message is optional, it does offer a clear and direct way to communicate with the receiver of the alert.

To configure notification settings, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Contact point field, select a contact point.

  2. In the Configure notification message section, enter an optional summary and description.

  3. Click Save.

    After you save an alert rule, it’s active and monitoring your log data.
