You’ve chosen AWS scrape jobs, the simplest path to getting AWS metrics into Grafana Cloud. This hands-on learning path walks you through the entire setup process, from navigating to the configuration interface to verifying that your metrics are flowing.

The journey starts with context about why Cloud Provider Observability matters, then walks you through navigating to the AWS configuration in Grafana Cloud, creating the IAM role, connecting your account, setting up scrape jobs, and verifying that everything works.

Each milestone below expands to show you exactly what to do. Work through them in order. You’ll need access to your AWS account with permissions to create IAM roles.
