Before you begin

Grafana Cloud access: Assistant may appear in your Plugins catalog, but it isn’t enabled by default. You must enable it per stack. You don’t send data to any AI/LLM provider until you use Assistant.
Administrative permissions: Some privacy and security settings require organization administrator or Assistant Admin role privileges.
Integration considerations: If you plan to use MCP servers or OAuth integrations, review their security implications before connecting.
