Get started with Grafana Cloud
You have several ways to get started with Grafana Cloud, but the first step is to sign up for an account.
Obtain an account
The first step is to create a Grafana Cloud account.
Connect or send data
Determine whether you want your data to be managed outside of Grafana Cloud, or sent to and managed in Grafana Cloud.
Connect externally managed data
Connect your externally managed data to Grafana Cloud with a data source, and create a dashboard to visualize your data.
Send data
Send data to Grafana Cloud using:
- The Instrumentation Hub to set up Kubernetes Monitoring and Application monitoring for a Linux/Kubernetes platform
- Configuration processes for:
- Kubernetes Monitoring for more advanced Kubernetes operators wanting detailed control over deployed resources
- Cloud Provider Observability
- Application Observability
- Database Observability
- Alerts and IRM
- Frontend Observability
- An integration for common targets such as Linux hosts, Kubernetes clusters, or Nginx servers
- Alternative methods
Tip
You can also use demo data initially if you want to experiment without instrumenting and connecting your own applications.
