A computer science and maths graduate from Leeds Beckett University in the U.K., Jodie Barnsley titled her master’s dissertation “Predictive Modelling for Air Quality in an Attempt to Help Those Vulnerable to Air Pollution.” In this session, she presents the system she designed to take raw real-time air quality data from sensors in the U.K., and with the help of Influx and Grafana (and some other bits and bobs), produce fairly accurate predictions for the coming week’s air quality index.
