    Olin leads the Observability team within Mission Control in the Aladdin Platforms organization. The team is responsible for telemetry, logging, and alerting capabilities that continue to be at the center of BlackRock’s ability to deliver quality software and operate at scale. Before his current role, Olin was the team lead of the Product Services Engineering group within BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin Business, responsible for technology supporting client services, business reporting and data pipelines.

    Tom is Chief Technology Officer at Grafana Labs, a member of the Prometheus team, and one of the original authors of the Cortex and Loki projects. In his spare time, he builds 3D printers and makes craft beer.
