Install Windows dashboards and alerts

The Grafana Cloud Windows integration comes with pre-built dashboards and alerts that you can use immediately.

In this step, you’ll install those dashboards and alerts, then learn where to find them.

Did you know? You aren’t limited to using the pre-built dashboards and alerts. You can create your own dashboards and alerts.

To install and view Windows dashboards and alerts:

  1. In the Install dashboards and alerts section, click Install to add the pre-built dashboards and alerts.

You should see the message: Dashboards and alerts have been installed.

  2. After installation completes, click View Dashboards to see the installed dashboards.

You’ll see a folder containing several dashboards:

    • Windows CPU and system
    • Windows disks and filesystems
    • Windows fleet overview
    • Windows logs
    • Windows overview
  3. Navigate to Alerts & IRM > Alerting > Alert rules.

Windows integration alerts typically begin with Windows, for example:

    • WindowsCPUHighUsage
    • WindowsMemoryHighUtilization
    • WindowsDiskAlmostOutOfSpace

Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed the Windows integration dashboards and alerts.
