Export your transformations

In this milestone, you’ll learn how to export your transformations outside Grafana Cloud.

By default, Grafana Cloud does not support exporting data transformations directly to an external database or other tools. However, you can export the transformation manually as a CSV file.

To export the data transformations, complete the following steps:

  1. Open your dashboard in edit mode.

  2. Click Queries tab and click Query Inspector button.

  3. Select the Data tab.

  4. Expand the > Data options row.

  5. Enable the Apply panel transformation option.

    The following image shows the browser market share table with the filter data by values transformation applied.

  6. Click Download CSV button.

A CSV file will be generated containing the data set with transformations.
