Overview

The Grafana Frontend Observability solution is designed to help you monitor and understand the performance of your frontend applications. This solution consists of two key components:

Grafana Faro - A JavaScript Web SDK that collects real user performance telemetry data
Grafana Frontend Observability - A hosted service that transforms telemetry data into clear, actionable insights through pre-built dashboards

Together, these components provide a complete observability solution that automatically:

monitor application performance: including core web vitals, user-perceived performance, interactivity, and visual stability metrics
capture errors: including unhandled errors to aid in troubleshooting
collect logs: to gain context into errors, user activity, and application state
tracks user activity: including user sessions, custom events, feature usage, and user journeys
observe your full-stack: with seamless integration into OpenTelemetry infrastructure and backend
