pfSense metrics from InfluxDB using Telegraf service

Tested versions:

  • pfSense: 2.4.4-RELEASE-p2
  • pfSense Telegraf plugin: telegraf-1.6.3
  • InfluxDB: influxdb-1.7.6
  • Grafana: grafana-6.1.4

Configuration:

  1. choose your InfluxDB data source
  2. set your WAN interface variable “$wan_interface”, default vmx0 for VMware vmxnet3 interface
