Connect Git Sync repositories with an OAuth App

Connect Git Sync to your Git provider with an OAuth App. Register the app with your provider, then authorize it from Grafana. There’s no personal access token to create or rotate, and Grafana refreshes the access token when your provider supports it.

To set it up, select Connect with OAuth App in the Git Sync setup wizard, enter your app’s client ID and secret, and click Create and authorize. The connection acts as the user who authorized it, so authorize with an account that can only access the repositories you sync.

OAuth for Git Sync is available for all connections in Grafana Cloud, and for the available connections in your self-managed instance.
