Session Replay is now available for everyone

Session Replay in Frontend Observability is open to everyone. You no longer need the waitlist form from the August 2026 public preview announcement.

You can turn Session Replay on directly from the Frontend Observability app setup flow. On the Configure instrumentation step, enable Allow end user data collection under Session Replay and pick a privacy masking preset.

By enabling Session Replay, you assume responsibility for disclosing session recording to your end users and obtaining any consent required by applicable law. Grafana Labs doesn’t display a consent banner on your behalf. For details on GDPR, ePrivacy, and CCPA compliance, refer to Data privacy in Session Replay.
