Create an SLO from a Synthetic Monitoring check
Synthetic Monitoring checks can now connect directly to Grafana SLO (Service Level Objective), so you can use checks and their reachability data to measure service reliability.
How it works
Open any check’s dashboard and use the Linked SLOs button to create an SLO right from a Synthetic Monitoring check! The default pre-filled query uses the reachability data generated by the check, so you can get started without writing PromQL.
After you create the link, an SLO dashboard is automatically generated, and you can view the current SLI (Service Level Indicator), error budget, and burn rate on that dashboard or from the check directly.
You can also leverage existing features of the SLO app, such as alerting on burn rates and agent investigations. To use those features, set them up on the SLO within the SLO app itself.
