Grafana Cloud Database Configuration App in public preview

The logs self-service configuration API, which had previously been available to all Grafana Cloud Logs users, is being deprecated and will be removed.

This API is being replaced by the Grafana Database Configuration app, which will only be available to paid users of Grafana Cloud.

To configure Loki settings using the UI, you need access to a Grafana Cloud stack with permissions to manage database configuration. You can use the Database Configuration app to adjust settings for retention, the OTLP label mappings, or enabling truncation of long log lines that would otherwise be dropped.
