Official Arcane Telemetry Dashboard
Official Arcane dashboard for its OpenTelemetry metrics, traces, and logs: API traffic, Docker inventory and containers, jobs, vulnerabilities, edge agents, GitOps, backups, runtime, database, dependencies, browser experience, and logs. Expects Prometheus (OTLP or remote write with metric suffixes), Tempo, and Loki.
Official dashboard for Arcane, the Docker management platform. It shows the OpenTelemetry metrics, traces, and logs that Arcane and its web UI send.
What it shows
- API traffic, latency, errors, and request sizes
- Docker inventory: containers by state and health, images, volumes, networks, projects, Swarm
- Per-container CPU, memory, network, disk I/O, restarts, and uptime
- Background jobs, vulnerability scans, image updates, GitOps syncs, backups, and notifications
- Edge agents and tunnel latency, WebSocket and SSE connections, authentication
- Go runtime, database connection pool, and outbound HTTP calls
- Web UI: Web Vitals, page navigations, and JavaScript errors
- Trace searches (Tempo) and log panels (Loki)
Requirements
- Arcane with OpenTelemetry export turned on
- Prometheus with metric suffixes, such as
http_server_request_duration_seconds. Prometheus's OTLP receiver (--web.enable-otlp-receiver) produces these by default. - Tempo for traces and Loki for logs, if you want those panels
Setup
Set these on the Arcane container:
OTEL_METRICS_EXPORTER=otlp
OTEL_TRACES_EXPORTER=otlp
OTEL_LOGS_EXPORTER=otlp
OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT=http://otel-collector:4318
Then import this dashboard and pick your Prometheus, Tempo, and Loki data sources.
