Cisco 2960X Example / Influx DB Database
#Uses Telegraf to collect appropriate data from switch, and store it in a InfluxDB database.
Uses a CISCO MIB, available here: https://mibs.cloudapps.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/MainServlet Remember to rename the file to .MIB and to place it into the default MIB directory. This varies by distribution, and can be found by running this command. “net-snmp-config –default-mibdirs”
Need the following line put into the switch configuration: within enable / configure terminal. “snmp-server community public RO” remember to save “Copy running-config startup-config”
