Grafana onboard the SOFIA airborne astronomical observatory
Wednesday, Jun 16, 2:20 PM
The SOFIA airborne astronomical observatory is a NASA and German Aerospace Center endeavor consisting of an extensively modified Boeing 747SP aircraft carrying a 2.7-meter reflecting telescope. In this session, astronomer Ronan Higgins will talk about how a Grafana deployment onboard the SOFIA aircraft is used to monitor multiple subsystems (aircraft, telescope, astronomical instrument, astronomical data, computer network), and how Grafana dashboards help correlate data quality issues with geolocation. Grafana is deployed as part of the upGREAT instrument software stack.
