# Save a dashboard

Each dashboard can contain multiple panels, each with a meaningful title that helps other users understand its purpose. After you save a dashboard, you can share it with others. Users with the appropriate permissions can edit the saved dashboard as needed.

To save the dashboard, complete the following steps:

1. When you’ve finished editing the panel, click **Save**.
2. In the save dialog:
   
   a. Enter a **title** and **description** for your dashboard.
   
   b. Select a **folder** if applicable.
   
   c. Click **Save**.
3. Click **Back to dashboard** to return to the dashboard view.
4. Click **Exit edit** to leave edit mode and view your completed dashboard.

**Congratulations!** You’ve successfully created a dashboard with a logs visualization. Your dashboard is now saved and ready to share with your team.
