Install the Infinity data source plugin

Before you begin, sign in to your Grafana environment (for example, mystack.grafana.net).

In this section, you find the Infinity data source in the connections catalog and install its plugin.

To install the Infinity data source plugin, complete the following steps:

1. From the navigation menu, click Connections > Add new connection.

2. Enter Infinity in the search bar and press Enter.

3. Click the Infinity tile to open the plugin page.

   If the tile shows a green check mark, the Infinity data source is already installed. You can skip the remaining steps and continue to the next milestone.

4. In the upper-right corner, click Install.

   You receive an Install requested, this may take a few minutes. message.

You installed the Infinity data source plugin, which is now ready to add to your Grafana Cloud instance.
