Review prebuilt HAProxy alerts

The Install button from the previous step also added prebuilt alert rules to your Grafana instance. These alerts monitor common HAProxy failure modes so you can respond before users are affected.

To review prebuilt HAProxy alerts, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to Alerts & IRM > Alerting > Alert rules.

2. The HAProxy integration includes three alert rules:

   Expand table

   Alert	Fires when
   HAProxyDroppingLogs	HAProxy is dropping logs
   HAProxyBackendCheckFlapping	Backend health checks are flapping
   HAProxyServerCheckFlapping	Server health checks are flapping

You can customize these alerts or create new ones from the Alerts & IRM > Alerting page. For example, you might add alerts for high backend response times or connection errors exceeding a threshold.
