Navigate to documentation and install an integration
Integrations provide pre-built monitoring solutions for specific technologies, applications, and infrastructure components. They include dashboards, alerts, and data collection configurations that help you monitor systems without building everything from scratch.
Grafana Cloud offers integrations for popular technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, databases, cloud services, and applications. These integrations accelerate your observability setup by providing tested configurations and proven monitoring practices.
In this section, you’ll open the integrations docs in a new tab so you can keep this guide and your Grafana stack open.
Open the Integrations reference documentation in a new browser tab.
Browse the available integrations to find one that matches your technology stack. For example, if you want to monitor a Linux server, look for Linux server.
Open the integration page and review the prerequisites, installation steps, and configuration options.
You opened the docs in a separate tab and reviewed the integration you plan to install.
In this section, you’ll open Connections, find an integration, and start the install flow. The steps use Linux Server as an example — choose the integration that matches your environment.
In the Grafana side menu, click Connections > Add new connection.
In the search bar, enter
Linux Server(or the name of the integration you chose from the docs).Click the Linux Server tile (or the tile for your chosen integration).
Review the integration overview, then follow the installation wizard: configure settings for your environment, install any required agents or collectors on your host, and verify data collection.
When the UI offers an Install control for dashboards and alerts, click Install.
Click View Dashboards to open the pre-built dashboards for the integration.
You located an integration and started the install flow. Pre-built dashboards and alerts give you immediate visibility into the technology you chose.
The integration is configured and actively monitoring your technology when data collection is working. The included alerts help identify potential issues.
In the next milestone, you’ll configure billing and usage alerts to manage costs and prevent unexpected charges.
