# Navigate to documentation and install an integration

Integrations provide pre-built monitoring solutions for specific technologies, applications, and infrastructure components. They include dashboards, alerts, and data collection configurations that help you monitor systems without building everything from scratch.

Grafana Cloud offers integrations for popular technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, databases, cloud services, and applications. These integrations accelerate your observability setup by providing tested configurations and proven monitoring practices.

To navigate to integration documentation and install an integration, complete the following steps:

01. Open a browser tab and navigate to [Integrations reference](/docs/grafana-cloud/monitor-infrastructure/integrations/integration-reference/).
02. Browse the available integrations to find one that matches your technology stack.

For example, if want to monitor your Linux server, look for `Linux server` in the list of integrations.
03. Click the integration you want to configure and review the prerequisites, installation steps, and configuration options.
04. Return to your Grafana Cloud environment, open the navigation menu on the left side of the screen, and click **Connections > Integrations**.
05. Use the search bar to find the integration you researched in the documentation.

    For example, search for `Linux`.
06. Click the integration tile to open its configuration page.
07. Review the integration overview and click **Install integration**.
08. Follow the installation wizard steps:

    - Configure the integration settings according to your environment
    - Install any required agents or collectors
    - Verify data collection is working
09. Click **Test connection** or **Verify installation** to confirm the integration is working correctly.
10. Access the pre-built dashboards by clicking **View dashboards** or navigating to **Dashboards** in the main menu.

The integration is configured and actively monitoring your technology. The pre-built dashboards provide immediate insights into system performance, and the included alerts help identify potential issues.

In the next milestone, you’ll configure billing and usage alerts to manage costs and prevent unexpected charges.
