Grafana helps you connect to many kinds of data, ask focused questions, shape the results, and present them in useful views. This learning path introduces the small set of concepts that make that workflow possible: data sources, queries, Explore, transformations, panels, dashboards, and alerting.

You’ll follow the flow of data through Grafana—from a configured connection to a query result, then through optional transformations into a panel and dashboard, and finally into alert rules that notify people or systems when conditions require attention.
