Set evaluation behavior

Evaluation behavior sets how often Grafana runs your query, how long a problem must last before the alert fires, and how long the alert keeps firing after the condition resolves.

In this milestone, set the evaluation interval, pending period, and keep-firing period.

  1. Set Evaluation interval to 1m.

  2. Set Pending period to 1m. Brief spikes get filtered out, but a real problem fires quickly.

  3. Set Keep firing for to 0s so the alert stops firing when the condition resolves.
