Open the New alert rule page

A clear, descriptive name is the first thing responders see when an alert fires. A good name tells them immediately what’s wrong without opening the alert details.

In this milestone, you’ll open the New alert rule page and name your rule.

1. In the main menu, click Alerting > Alert rules.

2. Click + New alert rule.

3. In the Name field, enter QuickPizza high error rate.

Your rule has a clear name. Next, you write the query in Code mode.
