Set evaluation behavior

Evaluation behavior sets how often the query runs, how long a problem must last before the alert fires, and how long the alert keeps firing after the condition resolves.

In this milestone, set the evaluation interval, pending period, and keep-firing duration.

  1. In Set evaluation behavior, set Evaluation interval to 1m.

  2. Set Pending period to 1m so the condition must stay true before the alert fires.

  3. Set Keep firing for to 0s so the alert stops firing when the condition resolves.

Your evaluation schedule is set. Next, you configure no-data and error handling and choose a contact point.
