Open the New alert rule page

A clear, descriptive name is the first thing responders see when an alert fires. A good name tells them immediately what’s wrong without opening the alert details.

In this milestone, you’ll open the New alert rule page and name your rule.

1. In the left navigation menu, click Alerting > Alert rules.

2. On the Alert rules page, click + New alert rule.

3. On the New alert rule page, in the Name field, enter a clear name that helps responders triage alerts quickly.
