Windows learning path

You’ve chosen the Windows integration. A great choice for monitoring Windows servers and desktops.

What you’re about to do is a hands-on learning path. This isn’t just reading. You’ll be deploying the Windows integration to your own server, milestone by milestone.

By the end, you’ll have metrics flowing from your Windows host to Grafana Cloud, with pre-built dashboards showing CPU, memory, disk, network, and Windows service health.

We’re starting at milestone 2 since you’ve already covered the “why” of integrations in this course. The journey picks up with selecting your Windows version and then walks you through installing and configuring Grafana Alloy.

You have three options for completing this exercise. You can open it directly in your Grafana Cloud stack for a fully interactive experience. You can try it in the Grafana Play environment if you want to explore without affecting your own stack. Or you can read through the learning path on the website to understand the process before trying it yourself.
