Find and read the prebuilt dashboards an integration provides

Find and read your dashboards

After Alloy starts collecting and sending data, your prebuilt dashboards are ready in Grafana Cloud.

Open a dashboard

Find your integration’s dashboards in three steps:

  1. Click Dashboards in the main menu.
  2. Open the integration’s folder. For example, the Linux server integration creates a Linux Node folder.
  3. Select a dashboard to open it. For example, Nodes is a good starting dashboard for the Linux server integration.

Read what you see

A dashboard is empty until the first scrape, then the panels fill in. The scrape interval (the time between each collection) determines how soon data appears.

  • Time range: Sets the window of data shown, such as the last hour.
  • Refresh: Reruns the queries to pull the latest data.
  • Variables: Filter the dashboard, for example by instance.
