Section 4 · Validate and schedule

Explain the evidence needed before enabling recurring work and when to pause it.

Estimated time: 1 min

Repeat a result you can use

The checkout summary is ready for recurring work when a manual run uses the intended data and time range, supports its findings, and answers the morning question. Its creator also needs ongoing access and enough Assistant usage for the planned frequency.

A valid next-run time confirms scheduling, not output quality. The first scheduled result still needs review to confirm the summary is useful in recurring use.

Keep recurring work useful

Disabling an automation pauses scheduled runs while preserving its configuration and manual-run capability. That gives you time to revise the prompt or resolve access problems without repeating unwanted work.

A failed run doesn’t stop the next scheduled run. Periodic review matters when service names, data sources, or access change.
