Let’s talk about what you’ll need for this journey.
First, you need a Grafana Cloud account. You can sign up for free at grafana.com.
Second, you’ll need telemetry data accessible in Grafana. For Grafana Metrics Drilldown, you need metrics accessible via a Prometheus data source or stored in Grafana Cloud Metrics. For Grafana Logs Drilldown, you need logs accessible via a Loki data source or stored in Grafana Cloud Logs.
This journey explains what the Drilldown apps are and when to use them. For hands-on practice, each section includes a link to a path where you’ll work with your actual data. Having real metrics and logs makes that practice more valuable.
If you don’t have data yet, that’s okay. You can try the Drilldown apps in Grafana Play, with no setup required, or use the related journeys below to get data into Grafana. Then come back to practice with your own data.
