This is a good journey to do if you have a Grafana Cloud account and you want to set up your first alert from scratch. The journey uses the QuickPizza demo app, so you don’t need to bring any data of your own. The demo comes with real fluctuating Prometheus metrics you can alert on, and the hands-on path installs it for you.

On the other hand, if you already manage alert rules day to day, or you need to design alerting for a large platform team, there are more advanced journeys planned that will be a better use of your time.
