# Client.randomKey()

Returns a random key.

### Returns

| Type              | Resolves with                                              | Rejected when                                                    |
|-------------------|------------------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------------------------|
| `Promise<string>` | On success, the promise resolves with the random key name. | If the database is empty, the promise is rejected with an error. |
