addCookies()

Adds a list of cookies into the BrowserContext. All pages within this BrowserContext will have these cookies set.

Note

If a cookie’s url property is not provided, both domain and path properties must be specified.

Example

JavaScript
import { browser } from 'k6/experimental/browser';

export const options = {
  scenarios: {
    browser: {
      executor: 'shared-iterations',
      options: {
        browser: {
          type: 'chromium',
        },
      },
    },
  },
};

export default async function () {
  const context = browser.newContext();
  const page = context.newPage();

  try {
    const unixTimeSinceEpoch = Math.round(new Date() / 1000);
    const day = 60 * 60 * 24;
    const dayAfter = unixTimeSinceEpoch + day;
    const dayBefore = unixTimeSinceEpoch - day;

    context.addCookies([
      // this cookie expires at the end of the session
      {
        name: 'testcookie',
        value: '1',

        domain: 'httpbin.org',
