# selectText(values, \[options])

Selects the text of the element.

Default is overridden by the `setDefaultTimeout` option on [BrowserContext](/docs/k6/latest/javascript-api/k6-browser/browsercontext/) or [Page](/docs/k6/latest/javascript-api/k6-browser/page/). |
