# IP allowlists and Fleet Management

If your network restricts outbound traffic, you can allowlist Grafana Cloud’s IP addresses so that collectors can communicate with Grafana Fleet Management.

You can make requests to the Allowlist API to read current source IP addresses. Use the global, regional or BYOC endpoint depending on your needs and look for the ingress IP addresses related to the `fleet-management` service. Refer to the [Allowlist API documentation](/docs/grafana-cloud/platform/security-and-account-management/security-and-access/allow-list/#allowlist-api) for more details.

You don’t need these IP addresses for traffic that flows over private connectivity such as PrivateLink.

Where possible, prefer [private connectivity](/docs/grafana-cloud/send-data/fleet-management/set-up/connectivity-options/), such as AWS PrivateLink, instead of IP allowlisting.
